- Wisdom reflects a child’s growing mind. Through play-based learning, hands-on exploration, early literacy, and problem-solving, we nurture curiosity and build the foundational thinking skills children need for future learning.
- Stature points to physical growth and development. We support this through active play, outdoor time, fine motor activities, and opportunities to strengthen coordination, independence, and healthy habits.
- Favor with God speaks to spiritual growth. Children are introduced to God’s love through Bible stories, prayer, worship, and daily examples of kindness, forgiveness, and grace.
- Favor with man represents social and emotional development. In a loving and structured environment, children learn to share, take turns, express feelings, build friendships, and develop empathy and confidence.
our history
FBCM Preschool Center was founded in 2013 under the leadership of our first director, Rebecca Wood, who felt a calling from the Lord to start a preschool in Morrisville after recognizing a need for a positive early learning environment in the community. With the support of First Baptist Morrisville, the school opened with a small class of four-year-olds. Over the years, the preschool has grown to offer six classes, serving children from 15 months to five years old.
In 2022, Jacqueline Reid became our director when Rebecca retired. Jacqueline, who grew up in Morrisville as the daughter of FBCM’s pastor, previously taught at the preschool from 2014–2018. She is passionate about continuing the vision of the school and being part of all that God is doing to nurture children and families in our community.
