Our Schedule
- Bible Lesson - A weekly bible lesson and theme for the week is taught.
- Circle Time - Each day, the class will pray together, discuss the weather, seasons, the calendar, and the “theme” for our day.
- Literacy - Exposure to the alphabet: letter names and sounds, build listening skills, build new vocabulary, concepts of print: left to right, recognize and write first name, hold pencil correctly, etc.
- Science - Age-appropriate activities focused on observation, classification and use of senses are introduced.
- Math - Number and shape recognition, counting skills and basic math principles are introduced.
- Crafts/Art - Children are introduced to a variety of materials and mediums by which to create. Process over product is emphasized.
- Outside Play - Weather permitting, children will go outside daily for both free play and structured games.
- Inside Play - Our students will have free play for a short period each morning to help establish social skills. Learning how to share and love one another is emphasized. When weather does not allow outside play, we incorporate movement time and structured games inside.
- Snacks - Parents will need to provide a small snack and drink for their child daily. Parents will be allowed to bring a special snack for their child’s birthday after notifying the teacher. We pray each day, thanking God for his goodness and our food.
- Story Time - Reading occurs daily.
- Music - Theme-related music, songs, and creative movement.
Extra Fun Activities-will be introduced again once deemed safe (Get Moving, Music Class). Art will be conducted in students homeroom. Chapel will be conducted in homeroom with teacher mask on and 6 foot distance.
- Chapel Time - This will be held several times a month in the church sanctuary by our Pastor, Dr. Myron Yandle.
- Art Days - Your child becomes an artist, creating a special piece each month!
- Field Trips - We typically attend several off-site field trips each year. These include: The Pumpkin Patch, Fire Station, and the local Public Library. We will have field trips again once Covid-19 allows.
